- Mr David Kok was admitted as an advocate & solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1995 after obtaining an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of London in 1992 and the Certificate of Legal Practice in 1994 and is also currently a partner at Messrs David Kok and Partners.
- Mr David Kok specialises in conveyancing matters. Mr David Kok has extensive experience in giving advisory services and handling housing and developmental projects at corporate level and possesses vast experience in conveyancing including advising on and drafting banking documentation, sale and purchase agreements, shareholders agreement, joint venture agreements, tenancy agreements, general agreements concerning land and company matters and debt restructuring (reconstruction and restructuring) etc.
- Besides conveyancing, Mr David Kok also has extensive exposure in civil litigation and has represented individuals and corporations in various pre-trial strategy, risk evaluation and full trials.
- Mr David Kok is a regular speaker on property matters organised by various real estate agencies and bodies, investor groups and other related groups and organisations including for Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) where Mr David Kok is one of the official Legal Advisor and Honorary member to the same.
- Mr David Kok is the author of a 650 page law reference book entitled Conveyancing, Law And Practice in Malaysia for the international publisher Commerce Clearing House (CCH a Wolters Kluwer business) and is also the author of the books known as Legal Guide To Conveyancing Practice 1st and 2nd Edition respectively.
- Mr David Kok has also contributed articles to various property magazines like Just Property, Property Insight amongst others over the years
- Mr David Kok has particular interest in giving Legal Advisory services for small medium sized companies during their crucial growth and drafting of contracts concerning company and land matters related thereto.Mr David Kok has also previously served as one of the Chairman of The Disciplinary Committee for the Malaysian Bar Council.
